About CasaDeAssia

Two guesthouses in Assia, Batroun — since we opened our doors.

CasaDeAssia is two guesthouses on one property in the village of Assia, Batroun. The idea was straightforward: give guests something private, comfortable, and genuinely Lebanese — without the noise of a hotel or the anonymity of a short-let platform.

The property sits at 870 metres in Batroun District. Casa Green and Casa Black are architecturally different — one is a stone-and-render mountain house with a big garden, the other is a dark contemporary interior with a fireplace. They share the same pool, the same views, and the same host who will make sure you have everything you need.

About Assia

Assia is one of Lebanon's most culturally and naturally rich villages. Settled for thousands of years, the village is home to ancient sarcophagi, historic churches, and traditional grape and olive presses.

It is perhaps best known for its living tradition of handmade pottery — shaped by local artisans without a single machine, a craft passed down through generations.

At 870 metres above sea level and 27 km from Batroun city, Assia offers mountain air, the Lady of the Fortress waterfall, and the peace of the Batroun valley. A short drive connects you to Annaya Monastery, Byblos UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Phoenician Wall of Batroun.

What guests keep saying

01

Genuine Hospitality

Several guests specifically mention the host in their reviews. Present, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful — not the kind of host who disappears after check-in.

02

A Rare Find

A private pool at this altitude in Batroun is rare. Two fully independent guesthouses on the same property is rarer. CasaDeAssia is both.

03

Deep Roots

Assia is not set up for tourists. It's an active village with ancient history, a living pottery tradition, and a pace of life that most people haven't experienced. That's the point.
